I really like the animations and visuals. there is almost no step forward in the story and given that this game has been at least 5 years in development, it’s surperising how little happens in the story and how little content the game has. Generally you as player have no control over the MC and the story. As an example, MC gets druged, tied up and raped and the next time he encounters the woman who did that the conversation goes something like “I know you liked it”, MC says yes and woman says i teach you BDSM and they shake hands…. Almost every character is a controlling manipulative borderline psycho and MC’s character and behaviour makes not a single bit of sense. from the fact that he’s the shortes human being in this game and looks like a 12 years old boy to his behaviour. Honestly the MC is simply insufferable among almost all the other characters. I’ve never played a MC that i disliked this much. What really and i mean really bothers me, is the writing and characters. at some point it goes away and it visuals drop in quality and creativity too, until later at some point it gets better again. the starting part of the game has a nice mechanic during some scenes where you click on different parts and based on it you get points and scences. Strangely there are some parts with better animations and part worst. The visuals and animations are good to great. This game is a great visual wasted on really bad writing. If it bugs you, you can remove the mod file again after saving (including its compiled version, uo_mod.rpyc) and the values will still be set. A mod indicator will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you want to use the cheat mod, which is nothing more than a dialogue in which you can increase and decrease stat points, place uo_mod.rpy in the game directory. You can continue using your old saves if you played before. When prompted to enter how to refer to Alexandra and your sisters, just press enter for the defaults. I have a theory that when people are on-edge, anything can scare them, like a hung-up coat being mistaken for the Babadook. The above footage shows Clement luring the beast through a booby trap that shakes the whole room, but again, that only stops the threat temporarily.Īmnesia’s famous scares seemed intact during our first big look. There’s the divisive ammo-starved handgun, a couple grenades, and the most useful tool, the environment. The Bunker’s new sandbox structure means more unscripted events too, but it also means you’ll have more options when it comes to dealing with that stalking beast- temporarily, I should add. Even though light sources can scare off lurking beasts, that noise will still alert them to your location regardless, giving you just a few seconds of safety before the torch turns off and leaves you defenceless. For one, there’s the pocket-sized torch that makes an awful lot of noise when you charge it up. Light seems to be playing an even bigger role in this prequel, as it’s used in a couple of interesting ways during this demo alone. As you can see, Clement has all kinds of friends that’ll occupy his time in the dark, including hungry rats, an ever-present Alien: Isolation-type monster, and letters left behind by corpses that detail how to turn on the lights and whatnot. The Bunker puts you in the frightened shoes of Henri Clement, a French soldier who's been separated from his squad and abandoned in the titular bunker. That date’s creeping up very soon, and we now have our first extended look at gameplay down below. Frictional Games are releasing the next entry in their hit horror series later this month - May 23rd - with Amnesia: The Bunker, taking their signature stalks through the dark into a World War One setting.
